Let the Mexican-style Halloween celebration begin in Standoff 2!
New Mode: The Hunt
The Hunt is a 5-player mode, with 4 people playing as the survivors and the 5th as the huntress Rosa Mortal.
The mode features 2 maps:
Ritual Arena — redesigned Arena
Sanctum — a new map designed for this mode
The Survivors
Your goal is to activate 5 of the 6 generators, open the gate, and make your escape. The team of survivors needs to work together to win.
Mechanics:
The survivors can activate the generators by standing next to them and waiting for the progress bar to fill
While you’re activating, a Quick Time Event takes place. Press the right buttons at the right time when they appear
If you get interrupted, your progress is saved and the other survivors can pick up where you left off
Survivors can get weapons and grenades from special lockers to slow or even eliminate the huntress
The Huntress
Your goal is to stop the survivors from escaping the area. Take them down and break the generators.
Mechanics:
Increased HP
Taller and faster than the survivors
Powerful melee attacks
Slow enemies using a special grenade. Regenerate one grenade after each kill
You can break the generators by standing next to them to reverse the survivors’ activation progress
You can use portals that instantly teleport you around the map
How to Win
The survivors need to activate 5 generators to win.
Then you need to open the gate. Reach the gate and wait a few seconds until you can make your escape.
When the gate opens, the survivors can leave the area.
The survivors win if they escape before time runs out.
The huntress wins if the survivors fail to escape before time runs out.
If only some of the survivors escape, they’ll receive XP and rewards as though they won the match.
New Battle Pass
Add new Mexican-style items to your inventory!
Knives are the biggest rewards of the Battle Pass, and you can get a new knife every 45 levels.
The Medal is back in the Free Pass!
You’ll get it at level 44, making it a true sign of your skill and determination!
Progressing your Free Pass to level 45 will get you a knife! This temporary item expires in 7 days, but it gives you an excellent opportunity to try out a new skin.
The new Gold Pass can be purchased for Gold again. Unlock all the rewards in this Halloween-themed Battle Pass for 1200 Gold!
New Event: Spin Día de Muertos
The new Spin is a three-part event!
Take part in these activities to get tons of rewards that you won’t find in the Battle Pass.
New Spin
A classic Spin.
Spin to win 7 unique Rare or better skins, as well as new gloves.
Arms Dealer
A mysterious arms dealer is willing to buy your Rare and Epic skins from the Spin in exchange for Tokens.
Spend your Tokens to get a new case containing unique items, including the sought-after Raider skin and a Butterfly knife skin: Arcane Surge!
Contracts
Contracts offer five new missions available throughout the event.
Complete contracts to get rare rewards: a profile frame, a Thermite grenade skin, a unique charm, and a Tactical Box.
This new Tactical Box isn’t quite the same as the one in the Syndicate update. The rewards inside are different, but you can still get it for free by completing Battle Pass missions.
You’ll find new items inside these Tactical Boxes, including an Arcane VAL skin.
Each contract can only be completed once, with the exception of the daily “Log into the game” mission.
Other Changes
Localization Improvements
For testing purposes, we’ve changed the names of the sides:
Counter-Terrorists → Defense
Terrorists → Attack
These changes make the definitions clearer and easier to understand.
This is currently being tested, so only some players will see this change.
