Introducing Kitsune Dreams, our Japan-inspired update and New Year celebration! Join the festivities, check out the winter wonderland version of Sakura, and treat yourself to items from the anime collection. Are you ready for an adventure?
Commander Pass
The highly-anticipated Commander Pass is here! Once you complete the Starter Pass, you can command your own squad and receive exclusive rewards.
How does it work?
Invite new players to join your squad via your unique link or QR code. Or, let your recruits find you by your ID
New players can only choose a commander once, and they must do so within the first 24 hours after their account is created
There are no missions for commanders. Instead, commanders gain progress when their recruits complete Starter Pass objectives. The more active your recruits are, the sooner you’ll get the final reward: a unique profile frame featuring a StatTrack that shows your commander level
Get Gold as cashback: When a recruit buys Gold, their commander also gets some of it. The commander will get 10% of a recruit's first in-game purchase, then 10 Gold for each purchase after that. This amount isn’t taken from the recruit (no Gold is lost in the process).
Please note:
Cashback can only be received if a recruit has gained enough experience in the Starter Pass and if it's been 2 weeks since they made a purchase. If they don’t have enough experience, the bonus will be frozen until the conditions are met. And then you’ll be able to claim it.
Cashback is available only for Gold purchases via the official store.
Anime Collection
The new Battle Pass will last for 6 weeks, and you’ll have the chance to collect tons of cool anime-style items: skins, stickers, charms, and graffiti.
And the biggest reward is 6 new knives: Tanto, Scorpion, M9 Bayonet, Stiletto, Kunai, and Fang.
You’ll be able to buy and sell all the items from the Kitsune Dreams collection on the Marketplace about 2 weeks after the Battle Pass ends.
Joy Sticker Pack
We’re experimenting with the style of our stickers again! This time we’re bringing you a meme sticker pack. Inside, you’ll find 20 cool stickers that reference popular trends and the classics. Do you know them all?
Redesigned Buy Menu
We’ve redesigned the buy menu so you can choose your weapons and equipment quickly and easily. Now you can find everything in one big window — no more unnecessary taps! You’ll see how your economy situation is right away, and you can start the round quicker.
New buy menu features:
Purchase cancellation: If you buy something by accident, just tap the item again to sell it
Purchase request: Do you want a teammate to buy you a gun or equipment? Send a request by tapping an item you can’t afford! If a teammate purchases something for you, you’ll see the item in your hands right away, and it’ll have the skin that you selected
Optimal purchase: Tapping a single button will let you auto purchase the best weapon and armor set you can afford. We’ve already come up with several convenient options
Team economy: Now you can see your entire team’s money and equipment right in the buy menu, which will make it easier for everyone to get ready for the round as a team
Snow Journey: 3 Events in 1!
Spin
Spin Coins are required to spin the wheel this time. You can get them for free by winning matches in certain modes (3 modes are chosen randomly every day). Got your coins? Then spin the wheel and claim your rewards. Need more Spin Coins? You can find them in the Shop!
Upgrading Spin:
You can increase Spin quality by removing low rarity items (better prizes at a higher price). Among the top rewards are the first grenade skins in Standoff 2 history! Additionally, spinning the wheel will get you Boom-Balls. These are unique items that you’ll be able to use in the second event.
Festive Tree
The second event of Snow Journey.
Decorate your tree with Boom-Balls. Once you hang 10 ornaments on the tree, you’ll receive a unique profile frame as a reward. There are 4 frames of different rarities in total, and your reward will be based on the ornament with the lowest rarity on your tree.
For example: If you have 9 Epic ornaments on your tree and 1 Rare ornament, you’ll get a Rare frame.
And if you claim an Epic or higher-rarity frame, you’ll get all the frames of lower rarities as well! So, to get all 4 frames at once, you’ll need to decorate your tree with Arcane Boom-Balls.
Upgrading Boom-Balls:
Combine 10 identical ornaments to get 1 of the next highest rarity. This process cannot be undone, so be careful.
Community Goal
The community goal is a shared objective for all players. Do your part towards achieving the goal, complete the phases, and receive rewards.
Use graffiti from the Kitsune Dreams collection and fill the progress bar. The more progress the community makes, the cooler the rewards will be:
Phase 1: random temporary skin from the list
Phase 2: 3 Boom-Balls
Phase 3: A unique Snow Journey medal that you’ll get to keep forever!
Gift Chase Mode
In this mode, there are 2 teams:
Foxes (2 players): Quick, armed with knives, can revive on death. Objective: kill as many hares as possible
Hares (6 players): Unarmed (but can get smoke grenades when they collect enough gifts). Objective: collect gifts scattered around the map. If a hare is eliminated, they will need to wait for the next round to get back into the game.
Hares can collect 2 types of gifts. Regular ones can be instantly picked up to earn a few points. The special gift zones are worth a lot more points, but you’ll need to stand inside them for some time. The foxes will know that you’re there, and they may spoil your plans.
Expect hidden locations on Sakurime. A unique glow will help hares find them, but foxes won’t be able to spot the secret passways. They will look like regular walls to them instead. However, players from either team can access the hideouts.
If a hare collects multiple gifts in a row, they’ll temporarily receive a candy cane knife that they can use to kill any character — even another hare!
To gain on your victim or get away from pursuers, use a snowball. Hares can find them somewhere on the map, and foxes can get them by killing hares.
There are 4 rounds in a match, and each round lasts 90 seconds. The roles change every round so that everyone gets a chance to play all roles. The player with the most points wins.
Other Improvements
Added a new Nameless skin for the flash grenade: Flash “Solar”
Using graffiti is easier now: one tap and you’ll see the image on the wall. Want to use the old selection wheel? Hold the button and release your finger once you’ve chosen the desired graffiti
Grenade trajectory visualization has been improved in custom lobbies. Now there's a special window that shows the full path of the grenade and the spot where it will land
There’s a new tab in the Offers section: Bonus. This is a test feature that will only be available to some players for the time being. This tab will feature a new offer where you can watch a few ads and earn a Fragment Box. You can still claim Coins as a reward after watching an ad
Sorting items in your inventory and on the marketplace is now more straightforward and logical
New option to inspect grenades
