Code of Conduct

This document sets out the standards of behavior that you must follow and that you can expect from other members of the Standoff 2 community. Some forms of inappropriate behavior may not be listed below, but this does not mean that there will be no consequences for such behavior.

We control your access to the game, and you are required to follow the EULA and Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to consider each violation on a case-by-case basis and suspend your access to the game at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, your failure to comply with the Code of Conduct.

Please review the list of violation categories below, which apply to both in-game behavior and player nicknames.

1. Racial / Ethnic / Religious / Sexual Orientation / National Violations

This category includes direct and veiled messages in the game chat, private messages, and player nicknames that:

• Promote hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or nationality.

• Refer to symbols of racial, ethnic, religious, or national hatred.

• Negatively depict major religions or religious figures.

• This also includes using medical diagnoses, mental or physical health conditions, or disabilities as slurs or insults.

This also applies to links to websites or other media with similar content.

2. Buying / Selling / Trading / Multi-accounting

This category includes seeking opportunities to sell your account and game items, as well as seeking opportunities to buy accounts and game items:

• Links to Discord or marketplaces on other social networks.

• Providing your contact information.

This also applies to account sharing and links to websites or other media with similar content.

3. Obscene / Vulgar / Inappropriate language

This category includes any use of profanity (obscenity), vulgarity, or coarse language. Any attempt to bypass the Offensive Language filter using symbols, dots, spaces, intentional misspellings, or leet-speak is strictly prohibited. This also applies to inappropriate references to human anatomy or bodily functions, pornographic content, or any behavior otherwise deemed objectionable.

4. Drugs and Self-Harm Propaganda

This category includes any references to illegal drugs, psychotropic substances, or their slang names. Promoting, romanticizing, or encouraging suicide, self-harm, or inflicting injuries to oneself is strictly prohibited.

5. Political and Religious Radicals Content

This category includes the use of names of military formations, private military companies, or military slogans to provoke arguments, demonstrate superiority, or spark debates. Aggressive political discussions regarding country territories and the desecration of holy books, religious names, figures, or symbols are prohibited.

Flag Emoji Policy: Using flags for spam, provocations, or alongside political slogans constitutes a violation.

6. Illegal Activities

This category includes both direct and veiled messages in the game chat, private messages, and player nicknames that contain:

• References to carrying out illegal activities.

This also applies to links to websites or other media with similar content.

7. Spamming, Trolling or Advertising

The category includes:

• Excessive use of the same phrase, similar phrases, or meaningless messages.

• Insulting players or creating conflict between them.

• Any advertising not directly related to Standoff 2.

• Using invisible, blank, or hidden characters in player names or clan tags to avoid identification during the match.

8. Fraudulent or Malicious Software

The category includes:

• Posting links to software that contains viruses or is designed to hack the game ("cheats", "hacks") or unofficial game download sources.

• Using software that contains viruses or is designed to hack the game, or using unofficial versions of the game.

9. Sharing Confidential Information or Disclosing Personal Data of Axlebolt Ltd Employees

The category includes:

• Leaking confidential information obtained in testing programs or anywhere else.

• Disclosing personal data of Axlebolt Ltd employees to gain advantages or spread false information.

10. Harassment Outside the Game and Real-Life Threats

This category includes direct and veiled messages, links to websites, or other media with similar content that are:

• Related to violence of any kind and not directly related to the game world.

• Revealing any real-life information about other players or Axlebolt Ltd employees.

• Insulting other players outside the game.

11. Unsportsmanlike Conduct

This category includes:

• Revealing the location of your teammates to the enemy team via in-game chat.

• Being idle during gameplay (AFK) or intentionally participating in actions that harm your team. This includes performing actions that could cause your team to lose a round.

Liability and Enforcement Measures

If a player is found to have participated in any of the prohibited actions outlined in the Code of Conduct or Game Rules, we reserve the right to impose any of the following sanctions, either separately or cumulatively, at its sole discretion depending on the severity and context of the violation:

• Giving a formal warning and removing the inappropriate message, avatar, or description.

• Forcefully resetting player names, clan names, or clan tags that violate the rules.

• Temporary or permanent restriction of access to in-game features.

• Account Ban: temporary suspension or permanent ban of the player's account.

IMPORTANT!

Repeated violation of any part of the Code of Conduct or EULA, as well as behavior that contradicts the principles described in these documents, often results in a permanent ban from the game.

Messages that fall under this policy will always end with the listed consequences regardless of whether they are inappropriate in Russian, English, or any other language.
