Update 0.38.0 just dropped with a massive visual and technical refresh for Standoff 2. We know that when things move around, you might be wondering what’s up. So we’ve rounded up answers to the most common questions.
Why the New Look?
The old menu served us well for years. But it was designed when Standoff 2 was much smaller. With new modes, events, and agents being added, it started to show its limits. We simply couldn’t fit in the features you kept asking for.
This update fixed that. It sets us up for the future, making room for everything we still want to build. So yeah, it looks better. But more importantly, updating the UI is what we needed to keep growing.
Where Are All the New Features?
We get it. You want to see all the new features right away. But our main focus right now is stability. We’re rolling things out step by step. That way we can make sure the new menu works smoothly on every device.
Once we’re confident the foundation is solid, we’ll start adding the cool new stuff. And honestly, this pause gives us something even better, like time to hear what you think. We’re listening to your feedback and tweaking our plans based on what players actually want.
Can I Switch Back to the Old Menu?
No, there’s no such option. The old interface is just too outdated now. It doesn’t play well with everything we’ve added since. Running two different menus at the same time isn’t technically possible. It would slow down new content way too much.
We get that change takes some getting used to. And we’re keeping a close eye on your feedback. Our goal is to make this new interface work great for everyone.
What Happened to Clan Battles?
We temporarily turned off Clan Battles. To be honest, they weren’t getting enough players. But that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about clans.
This is actually the first step toward a bigger rework. We want to make clan interactions more exciting and rewarding. So we’re working on something fresh right now. Something that will breathe new life into clans. Stay tuned!
Where Do I Enter a Promo Code?
This section is now called Secret Code. To find it, go to Events on the main screen. You’ll see it on the right, under the Battle Pass window.
On the left, you’ll find a list of sections. Just tap on Secret Code and activate your promo there.
Where to Find Announcements?
All the latest game news is now in one spot. Just head to the Events tab. You can find it on the main screen right below Battle Pass.
