Introducing Season 11 in Standoff 2, Breakout. Expect major changes in the game as well as exciting new features!
New UI
Ready for a completely new menu in Standoff 2? You’ll spot changes on the main screen right away. Plus, some familiar tabs got an upgrade as well.
Check out our latest video to learn about the main interface changes:
Main Changes
Main Menu
Now you can see your whole team right in the lobby. Building a squad is way faster now. Just use the panel on the left to invite your friends.
All your activities, including the Battle Pass, are now neatly grouped on the right. That’s also where you’ll find the new Events section.
Events
This is your hub for news and rewards. Check it out often to catch new videos or find out about giveaways.
Inside Events, you’ll also find tabs for Creator Code, Secret Code (formerly Promo Code), and Bonuses.
Profile Cards
Now, if you tap on any player’s avatar in the lobby or your friends list, you’ll see their profile card. It shows the most important info like level, rank, and medals.
From there, you can invite them to your lobby or send a friend request with just one tap.
Friends
The Friends section got an update too. We cut out the extra taps, so managing friend requests or checking your blacklist is way easier now.
Mode Selection
We gave this screen a complete makeover. Modes are now split into two clear groups:
General — everything that uses matching.
Others — everything based on custom lobbies (now called Private Match): Training, Tournament, and more.
Profile
Profile stats have a whole new look now. We added a Detailed Statistics tab with even more info about your matches.
And in your match history, you can now see your result and K/D right away. No need to open each match individually.
Agent Loadout Customization
There’s a new feature in your profile. Now you can choose which gloves, knife, or weapon to display from your inventory. These items will show up on your agent in both your profile and the lobby. And in the future, you’ll also be able to pick agents with different looks and use them in matches.
List of Minor Tweaks
Custom lobbies are now called Private Match
Promo Code is now Secret Code
When selling an item on the Marketplace, you’ll now see the minimum price right in the window
Private Match settings like grenade trajectory camera, unlimited buy, and buy anywhere are now combined into one setting called Training
New Private Match setting: Who can join. Choose whether any friend can jump in or only players you invite.
Why we Сhanged the Interface
The old menu simply couldn’t fit everything we have planned for the game. With the new interface, we:
Built the system and UI to add agents and new features in the future
Prepared the game for the client-server version (Standoff 2 Remastered) coming down the road
Removed unnecessary taps and confusing navigation. Made the interface cleaner, smoother, and more modern.
It’s true that anything new takes a moment to get used to. But we’re confident that in a couple of days you’ll see just how much better the game feels.
Agents
This is the first big new thing you’ll notice. Edit your agent, and they’ll show up in the lobby exactly how you customized them. So choose your look, equip your favorite gloves, and pick a knife or firearm. Each gun has its own animations, so try out different combos.
Important: For now, agents only show off in the lobby and your profile. But in the next major updates, you’ll be able to take them into matches. As we add more agents, the old characters will leave the maps.
So stay tuned. We’ll share all the agent news on our social channels.
New Maps: Prison, Perimeter, and Block
Meet the new map, Prison. It’s a harsh northern setting. Gray skies, snow, and a heavy atmosphere. This one’s for players who love serious and dark themes.
Watch the map overview for more details:
This map is perfect for quick enemy encounters. You can get to mid in an instant, so get ready for action from the very first seconds of the round.
Prison is available in Competitive, Defuse, and other 5v5 modes.
Two maps based on Prison with slight geometry changes are also coming with this update:
Perimeter — for TDM and Arms Race.
Block — for Duel.
Fun fact: Prison is the first big map set in a new location in a long time. Earlier, we introduced a brand-new location, Dune, back in 2023.
New Mode: Riot
Riot is a fresh take on the Free-for-All mode. Everyone fights for themselves, but the rules keep changing. Throughout the match, two modifiers are randomly selected. And they shake up the gameplay.
Some are simple and familiar. You’ve seen them in custom lobbies. Like high jumps or headshots only. Others are brand new, like a grenade rain or hazardous walls.
The player who scores the most points by the end of the match wins.
Random modifiers make every match unique. Riot is perfect for having fun with friends or warming up before playing ranked matches.
Alt Sites in Allies
We’re launching a new temporary mode. It’s Allies: Alt Site. It follows the same 2v2 rules you know, but it’s unranked. And you’ll play on new sites, which is a perfect opportunity to try something fresh without risking your MMR.
The mode will be available for the first two weeks after the update drops. After that, it may show up as a weekly mode alongside the others.
We’re always open to feedback. If the alt sites turn out to be better than the old ones, we’ll use them in regular Allies, too.
Battle Pass: Breakout
A collection inspired by spy blockbusters is already here!
Big news this season: You can buy the Gold Pass with Gold. And the items from the Breakout collection can be bought and sold on the Marketplace right now!
This is the first time in the history of Standoff 2 that skins are available for sale immediately. The collection will fill the Marketplace gradually, which will keep prices more stable.
Pro tip: The faster you complete missions and claim your rewards, the more Gold you’ll get if you sell skins to the first buyers.

Sharper Footstep Sounds
Now you can hear footsteps more clearly at close range. Figuring out exactly where the enemy is coming from is way easier.
Zone 7
Zone 7 is leaving the game because of its low popularity.
Clan Battles
We’re removing Clan Battle for the same reason. This is the first step toward a complete overhaul of the clan system. We’ll share more details as soon as we can.
Farewell, Fable
The Fable collection has left the Shop and is now available on the Marketplace. For a while, you’ll see only three collections in the Shop. Expect a brand-new collection featuring something really cool in the next major update.
