Greetings, fighters! In this article, we’ll touch upon the upcoming changes in weapon balance in update 0.23.0.

We’ve focused primarily on the improvements of rarely-used and situational weapons. Our goal was to provide players more opportunities for strategy and tactics while keeping popular and beloved weapons mostly untouched.

Guns

P350

This was the least popular gun due to its low rate of fire (in comparison to other guns). However, it is highly effective against armored opponents and a great choice when you’re short on budget.

P350

  • Fire rate increased from 350 to 400;

  • Armor penetration increased from 57 to 65.

FiveSeven

F/S has become more effective against armored opponents.

  • Armor penetration increased from 84 to 92.

TEC9

Is currently the most popular gun in the game. Its performance is hard to compete with, so we decided to make shooting with it slightly more difficult in order to balance its power.

TEC9

  • Horizontal recoil control was increased.

We have reduced the screen shake in the initial shots, which should provide a more comfortable shooting experience. Despite this change, the recoil remains high, which ensures that the Desert Eagle maintains its reputation as a deadly and accurate firearm.

Desert Eagle

  • Recoil control was simplified.

Submachine Guns

Submachine guns are famous for their high performance at close range combat. However, recently they have lost their popularity due to low damage output and high recoil. To resolve this issue, we have reduced the recoil, increased damage they deal and added spread after every bullet fired, making them more effective in close-range combat but less convenient for long-range shooting due to the high level of spread.

MAC10

  • Recoil control was simplified;

  • Damage was increased:

    • in head: from 102 to 110,

    • in chest and arms: from 25 to 28,

    • in belly: from 29 to 33,

    • in legs: from 20 to 22.

  • Armor penetration was increased from 50 to 55;

  • Accuracy was decreased.

UMP45

  • Damage was increased:

    • in head: from 107 to 116,

    • in chest and arms: from 26 to 30,

    • in belly: from 31 to 35,

  • Accuracy was decreased;

  • Penetration power was decreased;

  • Armor penetration was increased from 60 to 65.

MP5

  • Recoil control was simplified;

  • Accuracy was decreased.

MP7

  • Recoil control was simplified;

  • Accuracy was decreased.

P90

  • Recoil control was simplified;

  • Accuracy was decreased;

  • Penetration power was decreased.

Heavy Weapons

Shotguns are primarily used for short-range firefights, requiring the player to get up close to the target. Shotguns were difficult to use due to their poor accuracy while moving. To improve the shotgun's accuracy, we have adjusted the accuracy, making it more effective in its intended role.

SPAS

  • Accuracy on move was increased;

  • Fire rate was increased from 80 to 90.

SM1014

  • Accuracy on move was increased.

Machine gun is a great choice for point defense, but its high price often discourages players from purchasing them due to their low mobility and difficult control. To make the machine gun a more viable option, we have reduced its price and associated risks in the economy. With these changes, we hope to encourage more players to use the machine gun in their gameplay.

M60

  • Price was lowered from 4000 to 3600;

Rifles

For most players AKR and M4A1 are the #1 choice among other rifles. So we wanted to give other weapons a chance by slightly enhancing their characteristics.

FNFAL

  • Recoil control was simplified;

  • Price lowered from 1900 to 1800;

  • Armor penetration was increased from 72 to 78.

FAMAS

  • Price lowered from 2100 to 2000;

  • Recoil control was simplified.

M4

  • Price was lowered from 3000 to 2900;

  • Armor penetration was increased from 71 to 73.

AKR12

  • Accuracy (no scope) was increased;

  • Accuracy (with scope) was decreased;

  • Armor penetration was increased from 77 to 92.

M16

  • Accuracy (no scope) was increased;

  • Accuracy (with scope) was decreased.

Sniper Rifles

We are buffing up sniper rifles to make their key features more prominent. The M40 fires now much faster, and the M110 has become much deadlier.

  • Fire rate was increased from 65 to 80.

M110

  • Accuracy (with scope) was increased;

  • Armor penetration was increased from 80 to 95.


We hope these changes will bring more diversity and give more options to your strategy and gameplay. We’ll continue to track your feedback and analyze how these changes affect game balance in the upcoming season.
