1. Introduction and Purpose
1.1. Key Terms
Reward Pool means the total amount of funds distributed among teams based on their assessment results.
Merchandise means in-game content, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of which is used to form the Reward Pool.
Organization means a legal entity or an individual that owns an eSports team participating in the tournament.
Reward means a share of the Reward Pool allocated to an Organization.
1.2. General Provisions
These Regulations define the Reward Pool system for calculating portions of the Reward Pool formed through Merchandise sales.
The purpose of these Regulations is to describe the system for distributing the Reward Pool among Organizations.
These Regulations come into force the moment they are published and remain in effect until December 31, 2026. Upon expiration of this period, these Regulations will cease to be valid and will be replaced by a new version.
These Regulations apply only when the Game Publisher or a third party takes the initiative to pay Rewards. The Regulations do not establish or imply any obligations to pay Rewards. All Rewards are voluntary and are made solely at the discretion of the Game Publisher or relevant third party.
The Game Publisher is not obliged to allocate or pay Rewards. The allocation and payment of rewards may be carried out by a third party. In such cases, any disputes or claims related to the allocation or payment of Rewards should be addressed to the relevant third party.
To be eligible to participate in the Reward Pool distribution, an Organization's team must qualify for the group stage of a Major series tournament, and the Organization must have a registered trademark, a legal entity, and an active Standoff 2 roster.
All of the above requirements must be satisfied for at least one month before the start of the relevant group stage and remain satisfied until the Reward is paid.
All disputes not regulated by these Regulations, as well as any questions regarding their interpretation, shall be reviewed and resolved by the Game Publisher. The Game Publisher reserves the final right to interpret these Regulations.
These Regulations may be amended or supplemented by decision of the Game Publisher.
All amendments are published as a new version of the Regulations and enter into force upon publication, unless otherwise specified.
1.3. Reward Allocation System
1.3.1. System Provisions
The Reward Pool is allocated as follows:
30% of the total Reward Pool is distributed equally among all teams participating in the support program.
The remaining 70% is distributed among the teams in Tiers A, B, C, or D according to the principles described below.
The share allocation is illustrated in Picture 1.
Picture 1 — Reward Pool Share Distribution
The principle for assigning teams to tiers is described in the document "Regulations on the Principle of Distributing eSports Teams by Popularity".
The second portion of the Reward Pool is distributed among teams as follows:
F-Tier teams share an additional 0%.
D-Tier and higher teams share an additional 17.5% of the total Reward Pool.
C-Tier and higher teams share an additional 25% of the total Reward Pool.
B-Tier and higher teams share an additional 15% of the total Reward Pool.
A-Tier teams share an additional 12.5% of the total Reward Pool.
Teams in higher tiers also participate in the distribution of the portions along with teams in lower tiers.
1.3.2. Example of the Reward Allocation System
Assume that 8 teams participate in the program with the following tier distribution:
1 A-Tier Team
1 B-Tier Team
3 C-Tier Teams
2 D-Tier Teams
1 F-Tier Team
1. Distribution of Base 30% of the Reward Pool
30% of the total Reward Pool is distributed equally among all 8 teams.
Therefore, each team receives:
30% / 8 = 3.75% of the total Reward Pool.
2. Distribution of the Remaining 70% of the Reward Pool
The remaining 70% is distributed among teams of different tiers as follows:
F-Tier Teams:
Receive an additional 0%.
D-Tier and higher Teams:
Share 17.5% of the total Reward Pool.
The distribution includes all teams in Tiers D, C, B, and A:
2 + 3 + 1 + 1 = 7 teams.
Each team receives an additional:
17.5% / 7 = 2,5%
C-Tier and higher Teams:
Share 25% of the total Reward Pool.
The distribution includes all teams in Tiers C, B and A:
3 + 1 + 1 = 5 teams.
Each team receives an additional:
25% / 5 = 5%
B-Tier and higher Teams:
Share 15% of the total Reward Pool.
The distribution includes all teams in Tiers B and A:
1 + 1 = 2 teams.
Each team receives an additional:
15% / 2 = 7,5%
A-Tier Teams:
Share 12.5% of the total Reward Pool.
As there is only one A-Tier team, it does not share this portion with any other team and receives the entire additional 12.5%.
3. What Each Team Receives in Total
A-Tier Team:
3,75% — base share
2,5% — from the D-Tier and higher pool
5% — from the C-Tier and higher pool
7,5% — from the B-Tier and higher pool
12,5% — from A-Tier pool.
Total: 31,25% of the Reward Pool
B-Tier Team:
3,75% — base share
2,5% — from the D-Tier and higher pool
5% — from the C-Tier and higher pool
7,5% — from the B-Tier and higher pool.
Total: 18,75% of the Reward Pool
Each C-Tier Team:
3,75% — base share
2,5% — from the D-Tier and higher pool
5% — from the C-Tier and higher pool.
Total: 11,25% of the Reward Pool
Each D-Tier Team:
3,75% — base share
2,5% — from the D-Tier and higher pool.
Total: 6,25% of the Reward Pool
F-Tier Team:
3,75% — base share
Total: 3,75% of the Reward Pool
Thus, each team receives an equal base share, while additional payments depend on the team’s tier. Higher-tier teams also participate in the distribution of shares allocated to lower tiers. Therefore, the higher the team’s tier, the more additional shares of the Reward Pool it receives.
The distribution chart from the example is illustrated in Picture 2.
