DEFINITIONS

This section defines and explains the terms used in these Rules in order to clarify their interpretation. Terms in these Rules that begin with a capital letter are defined as follows:

Public (and derivatives): accessible to and/or open to contributions from two or more people (as used of discussions, dialogue, or statements).

Fixed Match: a Tournament match the outcome or course of which Participants, or Participants and third parties with influence over Participants, have conspired or otherwise agreed to determine in advance.

In-Game Chat: a virtual space for in-game text-based communication that is available in the Game and intended for use during Tournament matches.

Game ID: a Game user's unique identifier, consisting of a combination of 8 or more numbers.

Propaganda: Public distribution of information of an extremist, terrorist, racist, or otherwise discriminatory character.

Insult: humiliation and disparagement of an individual (including other Participants or Game users, representatives of the Right Holder, and/or the Tournament Organizers) expressed in an inappropriate manner.

Misconduct: the commission of actions that violate another Game user's rights (including Insult and Propaganda).

Complaint: a communication containing a request for a user's rights to no longer be violated (including by other users or third parties) or for obstacles to the use of the Game to be removed.

Incitement: a deliberate exertion of influence in order to induce another individual, or group of individuals, to perform a certain action.

Defamation: Public distribution of false or misleading information about an individual or company.

Phishing: a type of online fraud with the aim of acquiring confidential data, e.g., usernames and passwords for personal accounts on digital services of any kind.

Aggressive Behavior: any kind of intentional or unintentional action that violates these Rules or other rules under applicable law. Aggressive Behavior is understood to include actions intended to disparage or insult other users, the use of foul language in communication, etc.

Alongside these terms, other terms found in the Esports Rules are used with the meaning that they are given in the Esports Rules.

General Provisions of the Disciplinary Regulations:

  • All Tournament Participants undertake to strictly abide by these Rules and not permit them to be broken.

  • If these Rules are broken, the Right Holder or Tournament Organizer may decide to impose disciplinary action on a Participant or Team.

  • The Participant or Team that broke the Rules may not be exempted from disciplinary action on the grounds of ignorance of the Rules.

Disciplinary Regulations

1) Public Behavior

The following disciplinary action will be imposed upon any Participant or Team that breaks the rules set out in this section:

Clarifications:

  • For the purposes of this section, Public resources are resources that are freely available for third parties to view. Private chats and Teams' and Participant's spaces are not public resources.

  • The Right Holder or Tournament Organizer reserves the right to restrict a player's participation for the duration of a Tournament event rather than imposing a one-month ban.

  • The Right Holder or Tournament Organizer reserves the right to impose a period of disqualification as they see fit, depending on the severity of the violation in question, within the limits set by these Rules.

1.1) Public Aggressive Behavior will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 1 month.

1.2) Public Insult will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for 1 to 7 months.

1.3) Distribution of pornographic materials will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 18 months.

1.4) Any form of Defamation will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 6 months.

1.5) Incitement to Defamation, Insult, Aggressive Behavior, or Misconduct will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 6 months.

1.6) Public threats made to other Game users, Tournament Participants, the Right Holder, or the Tournament Organizer will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 18 months.

2) Property Rights. Exclusive Rights

2.1) Accounts, In-Game Objects, and other constituent elements of the Game, as well as the Game itself, are subject to the exclusive rights of the Right Holder.

2.2) Using Accounts, In-Game Objects, or other constituent elements of the Game, as well as the Game itself, for commercial purposes or in ways not directly authorized by the Right Holder is not permitted and may result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 18 months.

3) Distribution of Inadmissible Information

3.1) Distributing materials of any kind that the Right Holder or Tournament Organizer considers to be Propaganda is a violation of these Rules and of the Game's User Agreement. It is punishable by disqualification of the Participant or Team from Tournament matches for up to 6 months. The perpetrator's Account may be blocked and the perpetrator's license revoked.

4) Fraud

4.1) Actions that are in any way fraudulent or not allowed by the Right Holder are prohibited during Tournaments or use of the Game. These actions include:

  • Phishing

  • Sale or other fee-based transfer of In-Game Objects, including Accounts

  • Fixed Matches

  • Unlawful use of third parties' personal data

  • Sale of in-game clans and teams

  • Advertisement of any third-party works or services.

4.2) Committing these actions in any form will result in disqualification of the Participant or Team from Tournament matches for up to 24 months or indefinitely.

If damage control measures are taken, the disqualification period may be altered at the discretion of the Right Holder or Tournament Organizer. If these actions result in unlawful expropriation of In-Game Objects, the perpetrator may be disqualified indefinitely.

4.3) Unlawfully influencing Tournament outcomes.

4.3.1) Attempting to bribe a Team with the aim of influencing the outcome of Tournament matches will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 24 months.

4.3.2) Attempting to bribe the Tournament Organizer's staff or a Judge with the aim of influencing the outcome of Tournament matches will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 24 months.

4.3.3) Teams conspiring to bring about a previously determined outcome in a Tournament match will result in disqualification from Tournament matches for up to 24 months.

5) Use and Distribution of Third-Party Software

5.1) Using any hardware or external software in order to facilitate gameplay or obtain additional gaming advantages during Tournaments will result in indefinite disqualification from Tournament matches. The perpetrator's Account may be blocked and the perpetrator's license revoked.

5.2) Distributing any hardware or external software in order to facilitate gameplay or obtain additional gaming advantages during Tournaments will result in indefinite disqualification from Tournament matches. The perpetrator's Account may be blocked and the perpetrator's license revoked.

5.3) Storing any hardware or external software in the Game client in order to facilitate gameplay or obtain additional gaming advantages during Tournaments will result in indefinite disqualification from Tournament matches.

6) Liability of Team Members Liability of the Team Captain

6.1) If a Team Member violates these Rules, the Right Holder or Tournament Organizer may decide to exclude the entirety of the Team from Tournament matches.

6.2) If individuals are knowingly included in the Team who were previously subject to sanctions under these Rules, the Right Holder or Tournament Organizer may decide to exclude the entirety of the Team from Tournament matches.

6.3) If provisions 6.1 and 6.2 of these Rules are implemented, the Right Holder or Tournament Organizer may decide to disqualify the Team from Tournament matches for up to 24 months or indefinitely.
